FreeDove is a Firefox derivative maintained with very little modification to the core browser experience and functionality.

Autoupdates

To provide you with secure and up-to-date software, the FreeDove autoupdater temporarily collects basic request information when checking for updates. This information is processed in real-time to serve the update and is not logged or stored under normal operations. In the event of a server processing error, request metrics may be temporarily logged for diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes, and are automatically purged after 7 days.

General Telemetry

As FreeDove inherits the vast majority of its underlying architecture from Firefox, any standard telemetry, crash reporting, or diagnostic data behavior retains its upstream configuration. For all other privacy considerations, please refer to Mozilla's Privacy Policy, as standard browser telemetry operates under their purview.
